Terms of entry

Entry is open to anyone, wherever they live, who is 18 or over and has reached the age of majority in the country where they live. Employees of 7Dreams Ltd, their immediate families, and anyone involved in sourcing a prize or running a draw may not enter that competition.

You are responsible for making sure that entering is lawful in the country where you live and in any country you enter from. Our competitions are not intended for anyone in a place where entering is prohibited by law, and at checkout you confirm that entering does not break the law where you are. If in doubt, do not enter, and check with the authorities where you live.

No one may enter from Afghanistan, Belarus, Burundi, the Central African Republic, Cuba, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Myanmar, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe or the Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine.

We verify age, identity and country of residence before paying any prize. An entry that fails verification, or that was made where entering is unlawful or from a prohibited jurisdiction, is void and refunded in full, and the draw is re-run for that prize from the same published entrant list.

Every entry requires a correct answer to a question of skill, judgement or general knowledge. The question is multiple choice: it is published with a set of possible answers, exactly one of which is correct. There is one attempt per person per competition, across every method of entry.

Online, an answer is given by selecting one option and submitting it, and is final once submitted. By post, the chosen answer must be written out in full; an entry that gives more than one answer, or an answer that is not one of the published options, is a wrong answer.

A wrong answer ends that entry, is not charged, and does not affect any other competition. A wrong answer given online or by post ends your entry to that competition by every method.

Each competition has a fixed ticket cap and a Competition Entry Limit — the maximum number of entries one person may hold in it — both published on its page before it opens. Neither is raised once a competition is live.

The Competition Entry Limit applies identically to every method of entry. Purchased tickets, Pass tickets, bonus and referral tickets, promotional entries and Postal Entries all count towards it, and no method of entry, including a subscription, may exceed it.

Paid tickets rank on the leaderboard. Bonus, referral and postal tickets enter the draw on identical odds but do not rank.

Ticket numbers are allocated at the point of purchase and confirmed on screen and by email.

Every competition is drawn on its published date provided at least 80% of its ticket cap has sold. That minimum is published on the competition page before it opens and is never raised.

The closing time is identical for every method of entry, including purchased tickets and Postal Entries. To allow postal entries to be received and processed, the draw takes place no earlier than the second business day after the competition closes.

The entrant list is published 24 hours before the draw and is frozen at that point. The winning number is generated on camera within the range of tickets sold, using an independent random source, and matched to the published list on screen.

Every draw is streamed live and the replay is archived with the pick timestamped.

Every competition has a published minimum of 80% of its ticket cap. At or above it the competition is drawn on its published date with the tickets sold, and the odds improve for everyone in it. No entrant is asked for anything further.

Below it the draw moves to the next scheduled slot for that competition. Every ticket number already bought carries over on the same odds, entry reopens, and the new date is published on the competition page and emailed to everyone holding a ticket.

A competition may be moved once. If it is still below 80% on that second date it is cancelled and every ticket is refunded in full. You may also request a full refund of every ticket you hold at any time while a competition is waiting for a new date.

We reserve the right to withdraw a prize before a competition opens. Once it is open, the prize is committed.

The winner is contacted within 24 hours by phone and email, and has seven days from the draw to choose the prize or the published tax-free cash alternative.

Where no contact is made within 21 days despite reasonable attempts, the cash alternative is paid to the account on file and the prize is returned to stock.

Prizes are delivered to a UK mainland address, or collected, within 21 days of the choice. A winner who lives outside the UK mainland may collect the prize or take the cash alternative instead. Filming and photography at handover are optional and always by consent.

Cash is paid in pounds sterling. The cash alternative is free of UK tax; a winner who lives elsewhere is responsible for any tax due where they live.

The leaderboard ranks members by paid tickets held, runs live during the sale and freezes at close. The top three receive the cash amounts published on the competition page.

Top 3 rewards are paid in addition to any draw win and are not deducted from it.

Entries are refunded where we cancel a competition, where a competition is cancelled for missing 80% at its second date, or where a payment was taken in error.

A valid ticket in a competition running to its published date cannot be refunded, because the odds for every other entrant have already changed. The one exception is a competition whose draw has been moved for missing 80%: while it waits for its new date, every ticket you hold is refundable on request.

The Pass may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation stops the next payment; tickets already allocated remain in their draw.

Winner names, handles and cities are published on this site and in the broadcast, as initials or as an anonymous member on request.

Any paid promotion of a competition is disclosed as required by the ASA CAP Code, and no post is made to look like an ordinary member's.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
